Recognizing excellence in public administration practitioners, faculty, and students in the Southeast.
For over 30 years, the Southeastern Conference for Public Administration (SECoPA) has attracted academics and practitioners to share their experiences and research, becoming the American Society for Public Administration’s premier regional conference.
The SECoPA Endowment Fund, established in 2006, provides financial support for our annual awards program recognizing distinguished public administrators, faculty and students. In addition, this Endowment Fund will make possible other support programs approved by the SECoPA Board, such as conference scholarships.
The Endowment Committee’s initial goal is to raise $25,000 to ensure continued funding of the Robert L. Kline, William H. Collins, Peter Boorsma, and Donato Pugliese Awards, each presented at our annual conference.
Please support the SECoPA Endowment Fund with a tax-deductible contribution or multi-year pledge. The endowment is recognized as a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization, and donors will be provided with a gift receipt for their support. Please consult a financial planner or tax adviser to determine the exact tax advantage of any gift you are considering.
In addition, our annual conferences host a Silent Auction that raises funds for the Endowment. The next Silent Auction during the 2012 Conference in South Florida.
To make a donation to the SECoPA Endowment Fund, or to donate an item to a future Silent Auction, please email our Endowment Chair, Dorothy Norris-Tirrell.
